We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of your account credentials and asset location telemetry.
2. Account Data & Password-less Authentication
We collect minimal account information solely required to authenticate your session and manage your registered physical tags:
- Mobile Phone Number or Email Address: Provided by you during sign in to verify your identity.
- User Profile Name & Description: Associated with your profile to label and organize your physical asset tags.
Password-less Authentication System
To maximize security and eliminate password vulnerability risks, iTags utilizes a strictly password-less authentication model. Access to your account requires access to your registered mobile phone number or email address to receive a secure, short-lived One-Time Verification Pin (OTP). We do not require, create, or store passwords.
3. Asset Location Telemetry
When you link physical tracking hardware to your iTags account, the service processes GPS coordinates, timestamps, and hardware status telemetry to display location markers and historical trajectory points on your mobile map interface. This location information is strictly bound to your authenticated user account.
4. Zero Third-Party Sharing
Strict Third-Party Privacy Guarantee
We do NOT sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information, contact credentials, or asset location data with any third party. Your data is utilized exclusively to deliver the core asset tracking and mapping features requested by you within the app.
5. Security & Device Storage
Authentication tokens stored on your mobile device are encrypted using hardware-backed secure storage mechanisms (flutter_secure_storage / KeyStore / Keychain). Communications between the app and our server API endpoints use TLS encryption (HTTPS).
